Inauguration of the Enterprise Nexans Power Accessories Germany GmbH
Due to strong sales growth, the capacity of the assembly area and the buildings in Hof are not
adequate anymore. In the course of the economic policy, it came into being to accompany and to
stand by for the growth of the company in Hof and keep it at their current location. Through the
professional and intense care of the Zweckverband, and also the assistance of the state government,
the decision was made in support for the city of Hof.

The Zweckverband Automobilzuliefererpark PolePosition celebrates his 5th year existence. The
Automobilzuliefererpark HochFranken developed with the assistance of the ministry of economics an
exemplary industrial location in just 5 years, for the time being there are 500 job positions, 350

Ground-breaking Nexans Power Accessories Germany GmbH
The Nexans Power Accessories Germany GmbH, Hof, is a manufacturer of fittings for the power transmission
of energy cables and has for a long time been a successful resident company with more than 100 employees.
Due to the intense growth in sales the production capacities and buildings in Hof are not sufficient
enough anymore. The contact to accompany the organization while growing and to keep it at its local site
in Hof, was established in the course of the maintenance of the economic policy of the city Hof. Due to
the professional and intensive support and assistance by the administration union, as well as the
sponsorship by the state government, the decision of the company was made in favor of the site Hof.

Ground-breaking: BWF group and E-Projekt Hof (Rexel)
BWF Protec, a well-known producer and developer of industrial wool and needle felts. E-projekt Hof, member of
Rexel, wholesaler for elecetrical equipment. Due to excellent conditions offered by Automotive Supplier's Park,
both companies decided to invest into expansion in Hof.

The official inauguration was accompanied by an interesting and informative programme which
attracted people from the whole district. Demonstrations of the features of the several
test benches provided the visitors an insight into the tasks and targets of this new Center.

Topping-out Ceremony of the Automotive Center Bavaria
Representatives of the Bavarian Ministry for Economic Affairs celebrated the official topping-out
ceremonoy of the building. The Automotive Center is to be the nucleus of the Automotive Supply Park.
The building of the Center comprises an area of 3.750 square meters.

Construction work of the first sector went on rapidly. Industrial development comprised:
road construction of B 173, including main road cross ways to the industrial park as well
